REDEMPTION
Forgiveness is a liberating and transformative act of self-care.
In this series of paintings, I aimed to explore the profound human emotion of love through the metaphor of flowering.
Just as flowers flourish after enduring harsh seasons, we too can emerge from pain and betrayal. It is through the act of forgiveness that we allow ourselves to blossom and invite peace into our lives.
RHAPSODY
This collection pays tribute to the resilience that enables us to overcome challenges throughout the various seasons of our lives.
It reflects the cycle of life, the renewal that each season brings, and the unwavering strength we possess to navigate difficulties.
REJOICE
Unapologetic shapes and vibrant colours characterize this series of expressive floral paintings, all intended to evoke joy. This series draws inspiration from cherished memories and the feelings they bring forth during happy times.
IRIS
"Behold the Iris, standing tall and proud"
Flowers do not need to explain their existence or question themselves; they celebrate who they are and how they look.
These single Iris flowers express the individuality of each of us, both within and without.
PENUMBRA
Beauty can be found even through the darkest times.
I was inspired to create this small series of paintings to invite the viewer to see the silver lining in every challenging moment and to find the opportunity to keep a grateful heart.
TRAZOS
A collection of paintings capturing the warm colours of the Caribbean tropics through the beauty of its flora. My inspiration came from the African-Latin musical rhythms of Bossa Nova and Reggae.
